The expertise supported by Bayer, in order to achieve the objectives in its core activities, is extremely varied. Here we would like to explain a few fields of work, which are specific to the sectors in which Bayer is active and which are not so well known by the wider public.
Intellectual Property (IP) ensures that the products, technology and know-how of
Bayer BioScience are protected to the highest extent. New intellectual ideas, concepts or creations are valuable for Bayer and are its property. In order to prevent others from copying, imitating or using these without permission, the advice of the IP team is important at all times, from the research and development phase to the publication. Are you an expert in patent law and breeders’ rights, patents, licences and so on? If so then we would like to have you in our team of experts in the
Intellectual Property group.
Within Bayer CropScience, Bayer HealthCare and Bayer BioScience alike, the Regulatory Affairs team ensures that Bayer can sell its products in Belgium, that its products can be marketed internationally, field trials can be carried out, etc. It documents the safety of our products and provides information regarding these to governments throughout the world. In this, it works closely together with other expert functions (R&D, Marketing, etc.) within the company. If you have studied Biology, Pharmaceutics or related subjects, then perhaps a career in Regulatory Affairs is something for you. Click here for an overview of our
